On Sunday May 8th 2011, children young and old will celebrate that special woman in their lives who has always been there for them. Cactus Salon & Spa is teaming up with 9 other Long Island based businesses to make this Mother’s Day even more special. Announcing the first ever Long Island’s Best Mom Contest brought to you by Cactus Salon. We're seeking that entry that moves us the most, about a mom who did something extra-special for her family, her community, a friend or loved one. Is there a mom you know who has done something extraordinary or heroic? What makes this mom special?
To enter visit our facebook page at www.facebook.com/cactussalonandspa and click on the LI Best Mom Contest Link beneath our profile picture. All you need to do is submit a photo of the mom you are nominating along with a brief essay on why the mom you are nominating deserves to be crowned Long Island’s Best Mom. Then it’s up to you to get the vote out and get all your friends and family to vote for your Mom. At the end of the entry period the 3 moms with the most votes will be selected as finalists. Our committee will select the Grand Prize winner on May 4th. Just in time to give one lucky mom the Mother’s Day of her dreams.
