So today we decided to take a day trip to my parent's weekend house out on the North Fork, LI. We love it out there. In years past we would spend all year long there but not now. My 18 month old Alexa hates sleeping anywhere but home:( So now a nice weekend out east has turned into a nice day trip out east. It takes me about 2 hrs each way but it is so worth it. The kids love Grandma & Pop Pop's house. They have so much fun and I get to relax and get away from it all for a little while.
We stopped at Latham Farm Stand in Orient. We played outside for a bit and chased some bunnies:) Then inside we played games and toys. We ended the day with a ride from my dad in his Electric Car through Orient Beach State Park.
The only bad thing about a day trip out east and leaving after dinner is the traffic! But at least the kids sleep the entire way and I get to listen to my music:)
Here are some pictures from our day. It was beautiful out in NY today!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday:)
