While I am still working on a system for Nassau Libraries...

It is taking longer and is a little more involved then expected. Sorry everyone. I am still working on it.

I just wanted to share what else I have been doing. In Feb 2010 I started a Facebook Page "SAVE LONG ISLAND PARKS!!!" to try and stop and save the NY State Parks in our area that were going to be closed by Governor Paterson.

Here is an article that was written about our efforts. I am very proud of all that we have done. And as of 2 days ago, ALL Parks & Historic Sites will be saved.

Here is the link to Long Island Exchange

Thanks for reading!! Have a nice weekened. Happy Memorial Day! And God Bless our Troops!!

Andrew's 4th Birthday Party!!

I had entered a contest on I was the random winner of a fantastic party package for 15 kids at Rolling River Day Camp in Oceanside compliments of Rolling River Day Camp. The timing couldn't be more perfect since the time that the party had to occur, was also my son's 4th Birthday.

I can't say enough about Rolling River Day Camp. The staff was phenomenal!! They went above and beyond!! It was truly the best Birthday Party we have ever been to. Marissa and her staff including Heath were the best!! No one could get over the grounds and how well run everything was. The kids had a blast! And so did the parents:)

The kids played on the awesome playground "Pebble Beach Playground" for 1 hr. Then they went under the tents and ate pizza and cake on the picnic tables decorated in a Toy Story Theme. In between, they had arranged for the kids to color these great paper birthday hats. It was a blast!! They also donated the favors. Rolling River Day Camp donated water bottles with the children's name on them and inside was candy and stickers. And donated fun green frisbees.

The place is super clean and so well maintained. And there are so many fun things for the kids to do.

Thank you so much Rolling River Day Camp and My family and I can never thank you enough for all you did and the smiles you put on my son's face:)
